Bali, Indonesia. My First Group Travel: @itsthatgirlrue💕💕

If you follow a lot of travel blogs or are into travelling yourself, you will know that Bali has become the GO of travel destinations.

And boy let me tell you! It does not disappoint! It’s as exotic as it gets.

Last year, I went on a 2 week tour through the travel company STA travel. My tour covered Bali and Lombok. Indonesia itself is made up of a few islands, all offering different adventures. Therefore in two weeks I wasn’t able to cover all areas.

This was my first group tour and honestly l loved it! Travelling solo within a group allows you the opportunity to be your own person and discover yourself without the influence of friends. Plus you get the joys of meeting new people from all over the world who have a common love and interest in learning and discovering the world and new places!

The food was amazing, I really enjoyed the variety they had to offer. The local people were super friendly and always willing to help. I enjoyed bargain hunting in the Ubud market, definitely a highlight of my trip.

My favourite part of the trip was whilst I was exploring Lombok. I hired a bike and came across one of the locals who I befriended, he was kind enough to ride around with me as my very own personal tour guide across Lombok.

Sometimes when traveling, you forget about the locals, and what thier day to day lives consist of. The intimate tour gave me an eye opening first had experience of life on the island, which was incredible!

It’s always important I believe when traveling to find a local person who is willing to give you an insight into the reality of their lives. You will simply appreciate your trip more. I certainly did. A very humbling experience.

I Would highly recommend Indonesia as a travel option. I would love to go there again and visit the other islands as l was not able to explore them all.

If you are planning a trip, I would suggest looking online, nowadays you can plan your own trip online. It is best to loom around for a local guide. If you do not want any worries l would suggest looking for a group travel. Honestly it could be one of the best things you have ever done!

Have a look at gadventures, STA travel. If you are looking for a luxurious trip have a look at Kuoni travel offers, they offer solo as well as group travels.

Happy travelling! And keep us posted on your travel choices or if you have any travel tips do share!
